1)What physical geographic features have aided the development of the United States?
The United States was aided in development a lot thanks to the physical features that it has. The US has the Mississippi River and many other big rivers which connected its mainland to the ocean trade way. Merchants sailing from oceans can easily accessed market and trading ports through the rivers. Also, they can fish from the rivers, too. From the fish, they not only have a stable source of food supply, but also they can export their fish products for money. Also, the US has a lot of farmland for agricultural productions. They can export their wheat and products for profits. Finally, the US also got a tremendous amount of trees and forest which they can log for money.
2)What physical geographic features have aided the development of Vietnam?
I think the availability of farmland is the most important physical features that aid the development of Vietnam. Vietnam has a lot of big, rich fertile plains. These plains helps the farming and many agricultural productions significantly. With land fertile from rivers silt every day, the soils are very efficient and helpful in agricultural productions. These rich nutrients soils have helped Vietnam one of the top exporter of rice. This truly has helped Vietnam a lot. I also think that the some of the forests is also helping Vietnam's economy. However, I think that the plains is the top contributor that helps Vietnam.
3)Compare similarities and differences
The differences of the two countries are that the US has a numerous amount of forest and also their rivers are deeply cut into their mainlands which let ships travel more into cities to trade. I think that is all for the differences in physical features. The only similarity I found, is that they both have farmland to farm and export agricultural productions to get profits.
